             MTV Shuga, a popular television series in Africa has graced our screens with many young and talented actors and Thuso Mbedu is not an exception.  The MTV Shuga star who played the role of Ipeleng has landed a role in Amazon series based on Colson Whitehead book “The Underground Railroad”. The series will be directed by Barry Jenkins, he is well known for his highly acclaimed film Moonlight. ‘ENCOURAGE MORE WOMEN INTO POLITICS’-FATIMATU ABUBAKAR

The Deputy Communications Director at the Office of the President of Ghana, Fatimatu Abubakar, has advised that more women should be involved in politics for the betterment of national development. She believed that if more women are into politics, there will be a total transformation of women’s progress living in developing countries. An event which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre and organized by the Initiative for Youth Development which served a purpose of empowering young Zongo women for community and national development. Madam Abubakar who was a speaker at the event urged most young Muslim women to take advantage of opportunities and make good use of it irrespective of their religion, gender and social status.
